A look back at 2014's stock market performance and provides 2015

Abstract

2014 has marked an impressive recovery in the Index as well as liquidity in Vietnam's stock market. Many investors have taken the opportunities and made various successful transactions in 2014. The VN-Index reached the highest peak at 640.75 points (3/9 days) after almost 6 years fluctuating around 500 points, while the HNX-Index also reached a high of 92.99 points (day 24/3) after 3 years. The first trading session of 2015 are also optimistically expected by investors. 

This paper has pointed out the movements of index and liquidity in the 2014 stock market, summarizing the results and the predictions about that in 2015 from the perspective of investors.
