Development of Vietnam corporate bond market before integration requirements
Abstract
The bond market has long played a major role in every country’s capital market, contributing effectively in raising capital for research and development in an attempt to boost the country’s economy. Having established since 1990s and continued to grow over the past 20 years, bond market has offered as a crucial long-term source of capital for various economic activities to rely on. Not only has the bond market served as a fiscal tool for the government to implement its macroeconomic policies, it also provides the immediate funds for the growth of potential firms and companies.
This article aims to provide a fair judgment on the bond market amongst firms in Vietnam at the moment, and to offer a number of solutions to maintain the sustainable growth of the market in Vietnam in the future
