Discussing some juridical provisions of the micro- finance institution’s operation in Vietnam

Abstract

The first legal provisions for the operation of Microfinance (MFIs) was established in Vietnam in 2005 is the Decree No.28/2005/ND-CP issued by the Government on the small-scaled financial institutions’ activities. Regarding to study of legal provisions associated to MFIs’ activities, inadequacies of existing regulations. This paper proposes recommendations that help MFIs overcome difficulties and obstacles in their operation in order to support their growth and better serve the needs of low-income people and poor customers
