Economic structure change in Vietnam in period 1994- 2013: Current situation and solutions
Abstract
Changing the economic structure is an objective process alters structure, density, speed and quality of economic relations between sectors, regions and economic sectors to achieve a structure more reasonable for the social economic development of the country. This process, however, was very diverse, sometimes it was not in accordance with rules, and the results of economic structure changes may depend on subjective or objective factors. After over 20 years of economic reform, Vietnam has shown a shift in the right direction of economic structure, but whether the transition process which ensures the economy achieve growth targets set or not? This article will analyze the economic structure changes in Vietnam bas on fluctuations in economic and social, thence the article will make recommendations about the direction of economic structure changes in the future.
