Applying and creatively developing HoChiMinh’s Thought on “Diligence, Thrift, Integrity and Uprightness” in contemporary public service in VietNam
Abstract
Great President Ho Chi Minh’s Thought, particularly the ethical principles of Diligence, Thrift, Integrity, and Uprightness, represents an invaluable ideological legacy of the Communist Party of Viet Nam and the Vietnamese nation, serving as a moral foundation for cadre development and public service conduct. In the context of building a socialist rule-of-law state and promoting administrative reform and integrity, the effective and creative application of Ho Chi Minh’s Thought has become increasingly imperative. This article analyses the necessity of applying and further developing these ethical principles in contemporary public service, and proposes policy-oriented solutions to ensure their practical and effective implementation in Viet Nam today.
