Abstract
Media relations management comprises a range of activities, including the establishment of guiding principles, allocation of responsibilities, information provision to the press, management of media interactions, and the handling of incidents and media crises. These activities aim to enhance organisational reputation, strengthen public trust, and mitigate the negative impacts of misinformation. Drawing on this framework, the article proposes policy recommendations for NAPAS, focusing on strategic communication improvement, capacity building, crisis communication preparedness, data standardisation, flexible budget allocation, and enhanced coordination with relevant regulatory and financial institutions.
