THE INFLUENCE OF HINDUISM TOWARDS INDIAN WOMEN’S LIFESTYLE FROM THE PERSPECTIVE OF RATIONAL CHOICE THEORY

Abstract
Hinduism and its cultural values are the key bases that determine longstanding lifestyles of Indian women. Through the rational choice theory, using interdisciplinary methods and systemic-structural methods, this article summarise and analyse the secondary qualitative data from the national and international journal articles that relate to Indian women’s styles of studying, working, mental living, and behaviors in family, thereby, this article highlights the imprints of Hinduism towards Indian women’s lifestyle, as well as the movement and adjustment of Hinduism itself to meet the demands of Indian women in particular, and the whole India in general.
