Abstract

Artificial intelligence (AI) is one of the base technologies of the digital technology ecosystem, along with big data and data analytics, cloud computing, IoT technology, and wireless technology, playing a crucial role in digital transformation strategies. The AI economy is an inevitable development trend that many countries worldwide are researching and approaching in the AI era. Amid the explosive and robust development of AI, Vietnam, like many other countries, is focusing on developing an economy associated with AI, maximizing the benefits AI brings to socio-economic development. This article presents theoretical foundations and analyzes several issues in developing the AI economy in Vietnam.
