Abstract

In the context of Vietnam’s deep integration into the global economy, ensuring national monetary security is essential. However, transactions still rely heavily on cash, putting Vietnam at risk of attracting money laundering activities. This poses challenges to safeguarding national monetary security. This study provides an overview of the theoretical frameworkon monetary security and anti-money laundering  efforts, evaluates the legal framework for anti-moneylaundering in Vietnam, and offers recommendations and proposals to strengthen anti-money laundering measures to ensure national monetary security.
