Abstract

Green economic growth is a new trend in restructuring economies amid climate change and the depletion of natural resources, aiming for sustainable development. The research and utilization of renewable energy sources such as wind, solar, geothermal, and bioenergy are essential for nations to develop low-carbon or green economies. Vietnam is striving to achieve its goal of net-zero emissions by 2050, contributing to sustainable development and enhancing the competitive position of its economy. This article analyzes the current state and policies for renewable energy development in Vietnam and proposes solutions to promote renewable energy development toward green economic growth.
