Abstract

In the past years, the General Department of Vietnam Customs has been strengthening customs reform and modernization process to accomplished assigned tasks. The application of information technology and digital technology has been a key to change comprehensively the customs activities and target at an advanced customs sector to better support people and businesses. Particularly in the last five years, the customs sector has concentrated resources to improve the quality of online public services, intra-industrial and inter-industrial linkages in order to simplify customs administrative procedures.
