Abstract

The year 2023 was assessed to have numerous challenges  as well as highlights for markets, the Consumer Price Index (CPI), and economic growth in Vietnam. Against the backdrop of the country’s recent emergence from the COVID- 19 pandemic, focusing on implementing the five-year socioeconomic plan (2021-2025) and facing significant political fluctuations in the region and the world, determining the movements of markets and CPI in 2023 and forecasting for 2024 from a macroeconomic perspective holds significantimportance in providing recommendations for economic management and governance.
