Abstract

Urbanization and ecocities are inevitable trends, with a focus on sustainable ecological cities (ecocities). Recognizing this trend, Vietnam has recently developed and implemented various financial mechanisms and policies aimed at fostering sustainable ecocity development. This article summarizes the experiences of several countries in developing sustainable ecocities, the role of financial policies in this sector, and offers several recommendations for Vietnam.
