Abstract

Social insurance is the pillar of Vietnam's social security policy. With an independent fund contributed by employees and employers, every year Vietnam Social Security has paid millions of employees for sickness and maternity benefits; Millions of people enjoy pensions and other monthly benefits, contributing to ensuring the country's social security. Promoting that important role, in the coming time, Vietnam Social Security will continue to promote reform of social insurance policies towards universal social insurance with many key solutions.
