Abstract
State capital investment in enterprises is no longer a new investment model in the world. This is a useful tool for countries to support development and stabilize the macro- and micro-economic situation through enterprises with large capital resources and operating in major industries. In Vietnam, through a transitional period, the state-owned enterprises are being actively renewed and rearranged to improve the efficiency of management and use of state capital. However, up to now, this process still faces multiple difficulties due to both objective and subjective reasons. The article discusses the experiences of Singapore and China on management and use of state capital to invest in enterprises and recommends lessons for Vietnam.
