The effect of fertilizer on growth and productivity of young green siamese coconut (Coconut nucifera L.) in Cam Phuc Nam ward, Cam Ranh city, Khanh Hoa province

Abstract

Abstract: In this study, the fertilizer formula was adopted from the research results of the Research Institute for oil and oil plants of Viet Nam and applied on young green Siamese coconut plants in Cam Phuc Nam Ward, Cam Ranh City, Khanh Hoa Province. Plants were treated integrated fertilizers in the protocol: applying (0,3 kg Ure + 0,4 kg Super phosphate +  5 kg compost coco peat) palm^-1 year^-1  for 2 years old plants, (0,4kgUre+0,4kg Super phosphate+0,4kg KCl+7kg compost coco peat) palm^-1 year^-1  for 3 years old plants and (0,6kgUre+0,5kg Super phosphate+0,6kg KCl+10kg compost coco peat) palm^-1 year^-1  for 4 years old plants.  The results showed that growth parameters and productivity performed significantly better compared to the control.
