The borrowed Chinese words together with the Sino-Vietnamese translation problem of students

Abstract

Abstract: Words borrowed from Chinese accounted a major number, played a special role in Vietnamese vocabulary system and have been dramatically assimilated. That under strong effects of assimilation created a difference between words borrowed from Chinese and Chinese characters in the Han unification. On the basis of introducing the characteristics of words borrowed from Chinese, this essay will focus on analyzing reasons that led to mistakes of Chinese students when translating Sino-Vietnamese words and suggesting some notes relating to Chinese borrowed words during teaching how to translate Sino-Vietnamese words for Chinese students.
