Abstract
Abstract: In this paper, we present a calculation model based on the Mie theory and the Ginzburg-Landau phenomenology to depict the anomalous thermal denaturation effect of bovine serum albumin (BSA) protein on the component of the protein-conjugated gold nanoparticles. These results show a linear dependence of the resonance wavelength on the size of GNP and a redshift when the protein is denatured by temperature. Besides, we found a good correlation between the measured values and the theoretical predictions due to the Ginzburg-Landau phenomenological formalism. This might have significans for further studies about protein-nanoparticle interactions and biophysical applications
