ASSESSMENT METHOD FOR STORM ENERGY BASED ON ENERGY INDICATORS

Abstract

Cyclone energy indexes are used by the cyclone research community, such as cyclone energy assessments, additional studies on cyclone classification, prediction seasonal cyclone activity, impact of cyclone and global warming on storm activity. The purpose of seasonal cyclone energy assessment, looking for the relationship of climate characteristics to seasonal cyclone activity and prediction of seasonal cyclone activity base on cyclone energy indexes. This paper presents the assessment methods of cyclone energy base on energy indexes and some comments on the applicability for East Sea.
