Patient satisfaction with the hospital quality in Vietnam: a systematic review from 2000-2015

Abstract

    A systematic review research was conducted to review researches on the patient satisfaction about service quality in Vietnam from 2000 to 2015. There were many researches about patient satisfaction of various objects in different places, 27 studies which meet the requirement were analyzed. The tools for measuring satisfaction were: general informations, waiting time for approaching services, interaction and communication with health workers/doctors, equipment, results of treatment...to suit for each object and each location...based on Likert scale (mostly 5-point scale). Almost general satisfaction with service quality were at medium level. Regarding the factors affecting satisfaction, each research was different however most satisfaction were less related to factors of general informations such as: age, gender, marital status...but more related with service quality, interaction with health workers.
