Abstract

     In Vietnam, the application of social media tools is increasingly attracting the attention of libraries, especially academic libraries. The article presents the basic concepts of social media and the application of social media in the activities of the Library of the University of Social Sciences and Humanities - Vietnam National University, Ho Chi Minh City through social media tools - Facebook, combined with a survey of 114 library users together with analyzing the characteristics of the Library's social media, the level of access and exploitation by users. Thereby, we propose some suggestions to increase the effectiveness of social media application in Library activities.
