Practical implementation of the Vietnam Library Law in the field of science and technology information

Abstract

    In 2024, the Library Law has been implemented and applied in practice for five years. This is an important milestone for agencies, units and organizations to recognize and evaluate the implementation of the provisions of the Library Law in their fields of operation. Through the analysis of legal documents on science, technology and innovation, the article presents some achievements in library interconnection, digital library development and library modernization in the field of science, technology and innovation in Vietnam. These are outstanding policies institutionalized in the Library Law 2019.​
