Building a course database in university libraries in Vietnam: current status and solutions

Abstract

    The database of academic courses in university libraries plays a crucial role in managing information and relevant materials related to courses. Building such a database of academic courses brings numerous benefits in educational management, improving training quality, assessing program quality and improving the quality of information products and services. In this article, the authors focus on the role and importance of constructing a database of academic courses in university libraries, as well as investigate the current situation and conduct analysis and evaluation of the database construction in Vietnamese university libraries. Based on the analysis and evaluation, the authors propose several solutions to effectively establish a database of academic courses in Vietnamese university libraries.
