Bibliometrics: key indicators - their application and training in information and library faculties

Abstract

   On basis of introducing key bibliometric indicators and their applications at information and publishing enterprises for creating databases, capable to solve bibliostatistical problems, makes clear requirements on improvement of training programmes for library and information specialties; studies and sets forth specific solutions to integrating the content of  bibliometrics into training programmes for high-school, undergraduate and post-graduate levels at universities  specialized in library and information science.
