10 years anniversary of the National Standard Committee TC46 and the standardization of information and library activities in Vietnam

Abstract

      The National Standard Committee TC46 has been established since 2004. This article reviews the establishment and development of the Committee in the past 10 years by introducing the organization of the Committee, the process of building and applying Vietnamese Standards (TCVN) in the field of library and information as well as providing some conclusions and recommendations.
