Pedagogics libraries to adapt with the new era

Abstract

      The article introduces four development trends and the impacts of the information and communication technology towards the research in education and training, including: the rapid spreading of information on the internet and social network; the explosion of digital information; the development and application of mobile technology in learning and education; the increased storage of information on the Internet and utilization of cloud computing technology. The article also analyzes challenges in the development of library activities, in particular: the cutting down of budget; the shortage of the information - library human resources and the shortage of equipment in the information infrastructure. Finally, the article points out some solutions to develop the education libraries in the current digital technology era.
