The role of librarians in developing information literacy for students at the Library and Information Center, Vietnam National University, Hanoi

Abstract

    In the era of information technology and advanced information knowledge, information literacy is essential to lifelong study capacity and job processing capacity. In order to study and research efficiently, students need to be information literated. Library staffs are responsible to build and execute policies and programs on developing information literacy for students. The Library and Information Center, Vietnam National University, Hanoi, based on its energetic and highly-skilled staffs, has been focusing on developing information literacy programs for students as well as improving their own training skills.
