Trends in digital humanities research from the perspective of bibliometric analysis

Abstract

This article presents the research results using bibliometric method to systematically analyze topics and keywords of documents on digital humanities. The research results also show the situation of research collaboration among individual authors and countries. Although authors from developing countries have had many have relevant studies in the field, authors from developed countries still play the most prominent role in research on the digital humanities. The research results presented in this article partly help scientists have a general understanding of the current situation of digital humanities research, as well as find suitable research topics.
