Networking and sharing information resources among libraries of member colleges and faculties of Hue University

Abstract

   Networking and sharing information resources among libraries are an indispensable trend for all library systems in Vietnam, because they bring practical benefits in the age of information explosion. In that spirit, this article reviews some basic features of the establishment’s history of the libraries in Hue and the operational status as well as proposal of the necessary factors to ensure the connecting, sharing information resources among the libraries of the member universities of Hue University (HU), aiming to the sustainable development of academic libraries in today’s digital era.
