Entanglements in translation of English subject headings into Vietnamese

Abstract

         Makes clear the results of investigation by the Central Library attached to Hochiminh City's National University into entanglements when translating English subject headings into Vietnamese: wrong translation, inconsistent translation, inexact translation, missing translation and syntax changing translation;  lists causes and puts forward measures to deal with this situation.
