The current status and solutions to develop a shared digital library at Hue University

Abstract

    The shared digital library has been a digital library model deployed in universities to exploit and use information resources effectively. Currently, Hue University’s libraries have diverse and rich information resources, however the sharing and exploitation of information resources among member university’s libraries has not been implemented effectively. The article highlights the importance of shared digital libraries, surveys the current situation and offers solutions to develop shared digital libraries at Hue University in the future.
