Blockchain-based electronic document storage model in the context of digital transformation in educational institutions
Abstract
In the current digital transformation context, many studies make great efforts to develop efficient solutions for storing and exchanging scholarly documents. In which, the popular approach is to deploy centralized data centers on the cloud-based platform. However, this approach has some limitations in terms of maintenance cost, large storage space, originality and security risks when sharing documents on a network environment. To eliminate these problems, we propose an efficient model that uses a combination of technologies such as the blockchain, smart contract, and distributed file sharing system. Strengths of these technologies contribute to create an intelligent access control method from which to form trusted document access and distribution policies for stakeholders such as authors, users, and data centers.
