Abstract

In the history of Eastern and Vietnamese philosophy, metaphor has been widely used by thinkers to express their ideas. In his intellectual legacy, Nguyen Binh Khiem employed numerous metaphors, including the “ideal midpoint”. This is considered a typical example of understanding his moral principles.
