Using exploratory factor analysis (EFA) technique to evaluate measurement models in scientific research: some summary and implications
Keywords:
Factor analysis, exploratory factor analysis
Abstract
Factor analysis is a multivariate statistical method commonly used in psychology, marketing, business, and administration. This review provides researchers an approach to perform Exploratory Factors Analysis (EFA). Exploratory factor analysis is an important tool that can be used to develop, refine, and evaluate measurement scales. The paper’s main purpose is to suggest a strategy of exploratory factor analysis, provide researchers in the administration field with a systematic, simple approach and diversify choices related to EFA implementation in studies.
