BUILDING A BEHAVIOR MODEL FOR SOLID WASTE CLASSIFICATION AT HOUSEHOLDS (Survey in Da Nang city)

Abstract

Abstract: In solid waste management, recycling associated to citizen behavior through waste separation at home, is a priority solution to reduce waste entering landfills as well as preserve natural resources. This research suggests the models on predicting behavior of waste classification in order tounderstand the factors that promote participation in recycling activities. The findings will provide the scientific basis to improve the strategies to expand the waste classification at source for the whole city to achieve desired outcomes on participation rate.
