RESEARCH ON THE CAUSES OF INSTABILITY OF MOUNTAIN SLOPES ALONG TRAFFIC ROUTES IN LAM DONG PLATEAU AREA

Abstract

Abstract: In the Lam Dong plateau area recently, from 2023 to
present, there have been many places where the slopes of mountains
and hills along the roads have collapsed, causing a lot of damage to
the trade of goods, affecting social life, and damaging the national
economy. There are many causes of landslides in steep hill slopes
during the rainy season as well as during the period of climate change.
This study aims to find out the causes of physical and mechanical
properties of the soil causing landslides and landslides on steep
slopes in highland areas with slopes along roads when the ground is
saturated with water due to climate change in order to have measures
to prevent and avoid accidents during the rainy and stormy seasons
