Abstract: Urban planning integrated
with public transportation is not only
a transportation solution, but also a
comprehensive development strategy for
urban future. Hanoi is facing traffic congestion,
with infrastructure development lagging
behind the growth of vehicles. Therefore,
Hanoi needs specific guidelines on a TransportOriented Development (TOD) model to build
a green, modern, and civilized city, with public
transportation as the core of development.
Hanoi can achieve sustainable development,
reduce traffic congestion, and increase real
estate value when transportation infrastructure
and urban planning are effectively integrated
