Research and calculation of bolt connection types in steel frames of low-rise residential buildings
Abstract
With the increasing development of the construction industry, steel structure used as the main bearing components in civil buildings is becoming more and more prevailing because of its outstanding advantages such as: large bearing capacity, high reliability, quick construction progress, easy quality control, manual labor reduction... The steel structure frame is especially suitable for projects that need to be constructed in a short time so that the investors can put them into use soon, which are coffee shops, garages, office buildings, wedding centers, etc. With such types of works, the construction of the links needs to ensure the bearing capacity, be easy to structure for processing and erection. This paper presents the content of calculation and checking of some typical bolt connections utilized in steel frames of low-rise residential buildings.
