RESEARCH AND SELECTION OF DESIGN STANDARD FOR STEEL PRE-ENGINEERED BUIDINGS APPLIED TO SPECIFIC PROJECTS IN VIETNAM

Abstract

Abstract: Currently, pre-engineered steel buildings are being widely used in industrial zones in Vietnam. When designing steel frame structures for pre-engineered buildings, it can be used according to Vietnamese standards or foreign standards (Eurocode, USA...). Each method selects horizontal structure frame with various cross-section areas to ensure technical requirements. The article presents some differences when designing structure frame of the pre-engineered steel buildings according to Vietnamese standards compared to foreign standards.
