Abstract
Abstract: Interruptions in the transportation and pouring
of concrete are common problems in urban civil engineering
projects, which are affected by traffic density and limited site
conditions. This study experimentally evaluates the impact of
construction interruptions on concrete quality through core
drilling and compression testing at three real projects. The results
show that areas experiencing interruptions have significantly
reduced compressive strength, failing to meet the design
strength; conversely, areas with continuous construction meet or
exceed the requirements. Therefore, the article proposes technical
control solutions to minimize risks and ensure the homogeneity
of reinforced concrete structures
