Abstract
Therefore, measures to help monitor and examine the level of pesticide remains in agricultural products play a vital role in the development of farming industry in Viet Nam. The present study developed an optical fiber sensor based on a core-shell structure of gold-silver material. Ag@Au NPs material particles were synthesized by chemical reduction method with a particle size of about 80 nm and were coated on the core of optical fibers through special bonds of Ag and Au with –NH2 groups. The detection limit of this sensor tested with quinalphos reagent reached 3.043 × 10−12 M. The results of this study contribute as an essential platform for the development of optical fiber sensors in the agricultural as well as other fields.
