Building a comprehensive student care model at the Faculty of Business Administration, Nguyen Tat Thanh University
Abstract
Education today faces many challenges, not only in imparting knowledge but also in managing and caring for students. Building a comprehensive student care model at the Faculty of Business Administration, Nguyen Tat Thanh University is a top important task. Through a theoretical review combined with qualitative research methods by in-depth interviews with 5 main groups of subjects: Managers of Faculties, Departments, and Centers; Lecturer; Academic advisor; Secretary - educational affairs; Union - Student Association; Students are studying at the department. The goal of the research is to build a comprehensive student care model. Research results have identified 7 main factors affecting student care: (1) Student affairs; (2) Training; (3) Facilities; (4) Scientific research, innovative startups; (5) Scholarships to encourage learning; (6) Training support services; (7) Union and Student Association work. The research team analyzed the current situation and proposed solutions to help students overcome academic pressure, reduce dropout rates, improve training quality, increase on-time graduation rates, improve satisfaction and promote the sustainable development of the Faculty.
