Abstract

The objective of the study is to analyze the current status of the sweet potato supply chain: a case study of sweet potato in Binh Tan - Vinh Long. The research results show that the initial operation of the chain brings some significant effects such as concentrated production, reduced production costs, creating high quality and stable products. However, the agents in the chain lack the link, the output is not guaranteed, mainly sold to traders, which causes the chain oj activities is not as effective as expected. From these, the author proposes solutions for each of the main agent in the chain to completely promote the supply chain for sweet potato in Binh Tan district.
