A METHOD OF FREQUENCY CONTROL OF INTERCONNECTED MICROGRIDS
Abstract
The formation of microgrids based on distributed generators to improve
the reliability of the power system is becoming increasingly popular.
Connecting microgrids in different conögurations helps increase øexibility in
the operation and control of parameters such as frequency and voltage of the
system. However, connecting microgrids in various conögurations also
requires more complex control strategies. This paper proposes a frequency
control strategy for systems of interconnected microgrids based on a virtual
synchronous generator approach. This strategy aims to improve grid frequency
and effectively regulate power allocation among microgrids. To demonstrate
the feasibility and effectiveness of the proposed method, the paper conducts
experiments and evaluates the results using Matlab/Simulink software.
