RESEARCH ON REMOTE MONITORING OF WATER LEVELS OF SMALL HYDROPOWER PLANT USING ARTIFICIAL INTELLIGENCE FOR DATA IDENTIFICATION
Abstract
Nowaday, distributed power sources are being invested in and developed in many places.
Distributed power sources include small and medium-scale energy sources such as solar power,
wind power, and small hydroelectric power. On one hand, distributed power sources supplement
power to the national grid, and on the other hand, they provide on-site power in areas where the
national grid cannot reach. Currently, most distributed power sources are monitored and
controlled through host computers and fixed-location management software at their installation
sites. The remote monitoring of distributed power sources including small hydropower plant in
operational management are very important. This article will study and apply artificial intelligence
for data recognition to remotely monitor water level parameters in small hydropower plant. The
system has the ability to remotely monitor through two options on Smartphone devices and
Website for users and monitoring centers with unlimited monitoring distance.
