BUILDING A TOURISM PROGRAM ASSOCIATED WITH RELICS OF THE GODDESS WORSHIP TO DEVELOPE HAIPHONG TOURISM

Abstract

The worship of the Goddess emphasizes the important role of women in the family, society and in the life of Hai Phong people in particular and Vietnamese people in general. It can be said that the goddess-worshiping relics are both spiritual support and bold imprint on the majestic history of the previous life as well as to educate our nation's precious traditions for future generations. Clearly, the custom of worshiping the Goddess has become an indispensable part of the spiritual life of Hai Phong people over the centuries. The article will synthesize and generalize the unique historical, cultural and artistic values ​​at the relics associated with the goddess worship in Hai Phong, and these values will be used as basis foundation to build unique tourism products to develop tourism in Hai Phong.
