Research, design and manufacture of IoT device for accident warning and vehicle journey management.

Abstract

Vietnam is one of the countries with a high rate of traffic accidents in the world. When traffic accident occurs, some safety systems on thecar will be activated to help people in the car to avoid injuries. Currently, each type of cars has different ways of identifying danger levels; however, cars are not equipped with a system of accident warning and automatic notification to family when the car has an accident. In this paper, we propose an IoT warning device that helps drivers know that their car is about to have an accident and notifies family about accident of family members at any location for timely rescue. In addition, the device is designed to manage and monitor thecar at anytime, anywhere if necessary and recognize the situation of the car being stolen. Hence, the product can be applied to help drivers recognize the operation status of the car and manage the car at anytime, anywhere if necessary.
