EXPLORING THE IMPACT OF ORGANIZATIONAL CULTURE ON THE WORK MOTIVATION OF EMPLOYEES IN A LUXURY HOTEL IN BA RIA - VUNG TAU

Abstract

This article focuses on examining the impact of organizational culture on the work motivation of employees in high-end hotels in Ba Ria - Vung Tau. The article is written on the basis of primary data. Using qualitative research methods combined with quantitative research, a survey was conducted from May to June 2024 with 219 employees working in high-end hotels in Ba Ria - Vung Tau. The findings show that there is a significant impact of organizational culture on the work motivation of employees including the following factors: (1) Social responsibility; (2) Leadership style; (3) Recognition and rewards; (4) Stability and innovation; (5) Vision - mission; (6) Trust and behavior; (7) Performance orientation. In which, the factor “Recognition and rewards” has the strongest impact with a standardized Beta coefficient of 0.364.
