Abstract

Textile and fiber industry have a rather complex production process, occupational stress is an inevitable situation in this industry. Some factors of working conditions can be the cause of stress and affect the health of workers, including burden and working posture factors. Results: univariate and multivariate analysis of the relationship between burden, working posture factors and occupational stress in workers of textile and fiber production facilities in the Central region showed that the number of actions of small muscle groups is the factor most strongly associated with occupational stress with OR = 1.827 (95% CI: 1.267-2.632, p = 0.001); working posture is also a factor with significantly independently associated with OR = 1.536 (95% CI: 1.019-2.314, p = 0.040); the number of actions of large muscle groups is considered a protective factor in the working environment OR = 0.722 (95% CI: 0.534-0.975, p = 0.034). Conclusion: There is a relationship between occupational stress in textile workers and fiber workers in the Central region and factors such as the number of actions of small muscle groups, large muscle groups and working posture.
