SOLUTION FOR DEVELOPING TOURISM INDUSTRY OF KIEN GIANG PROVINCE: AN ANALYSIS OF RESOURCES AND DEMAND

Abstract

In recent years, tourism industry has become one of the key driver for socio-economic development for a country and provinces as well. This study aims to give an indeed insight into the development pattern of the tourism industry for the case of Kien Giang province in the period from 2011 to 2020, regarding main indicators from the statistical data of tourism and an evident review of tourism resources and tourist feedback. With the light of the existent findings and provincial tourism data, some policy implications and intervention solutions on tourism development for Kien Giang province towards the year 2030 are pointed out.
